Constantinus Award 2025

Our project „LEO-Lesetest“ was awarded 1st place in the "Standard Software and Cloud Services" category at the Constantinus Award 2025.

The Constantinus Award is among the most important prizes for IT and consulting services in Austria. Projects that successfully bring innovative ideas into practice are awarded.

LEO-Lesetest forms the necessary foundation that is needed for targeted, effective reading promotion. LEO captures the reading competencies needed for fluent, accurate reading – quickly, comprehensively, and individually. Teachers receive an immediate, understandable feedback at the touch of a button about which areas a child needs support in, as well as concrete practical tips for further reading promotion. The tool is browser-based and intuitively usable on all devices – completely without technical knowledge or training effort required.

In close collaboration with Dipl. Päd. Claudia Scherling, initiator and publisher of LESIKUS Publishing, as well as her team of renowned reading experts, a practice-oriented, evidence-based solution was created that is now successfully used in numerous schools in Austria and other German-speaking countries in Europe.

About Us

The company Alphaport OG has been founded in Upper Austria. We're offering services in multimedia programming within different areas. As a team we combine versatile technical know-how gathered throughout years of practical experience. The foundation for that has been acquired through a Master's degree in MultiMedia Technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg. Beside technical competency we are also valuating soft skills such as teamwork and thinking outside the box.

Techno-Z - Creating a highly automated office home

Alphaport implemented a state-of-the-art automated booking system and dynamic signage for Techno-Z Urstein. The seamless integration of OfficeRnD and SALTO Systems and the installation of automated displays created an efficient and innovative work environment.

OEGG - Digital Transformations for the Austrian Society for Geomechanics

In close cooperation with the Austrian Society of Geomechanics, Alphaport developed their new website that offers both members and administrators numerous functions for digital membership management. In addition, websites were created for the annual Salzburg Geomechanics Congress and the ISRM Congress, allowing attendees to purchase tickets and participate in exhibitions. In addition, a user-friendly web app was developed to provide an optimal on-site experience for visitors to the Geomechanics Congress.

Hütter's innovative "Q-Schlafsystem"

Alphaport created a technology for Hütter's "Q-Schlafsystem".

With this technology (consisting of the Q-Sleep-Configurator and the Q-Sleep-Simulator), even the less experienced salesperson can now measure customers and sell them customized Q-Sleeping Systems.

Leo Lesetest - Modernization of a learning application

In collaboration with Dipl. Päd. Claudia Scherling, we implemented a modern web application to replace the outdated C++ application of the Leo Lesetest. Pupils can now complete the innovative reading test independently on PCs and tablets. The results of the tests are available in the state-of-the-art web application as a PDF for teachers and therapists.

The newly designed landing page provides insights into the concept, areas of use and prices of the application. At the same time, it serves as a user-friendly online store for end consumers.
